WHO ARE WE?
what baddies are saying
As a Junior at Bowie State University majoring in Computer Technology, I attended the BiT Imagine Hirethon career fair where I met with an Accenture rep. Fast forward, I’m being offered a position as a Business Development Analyst! HUGE shoutout to Baddies in Tech for the opportunities they provide for black women in tech!
I want to thank the Baddies in Tech team for spreading so much positivity! I just got a job at AmEx as a Software Engineer. It's been an extremely brutal job hunt... I almost gave up! This platform and community made it a bit easier by reminding me that it is possible for someone like me.
Becoming a BiT member was the best thing that happened to me last year. Coming from a non-technical background I started out with zero direction but, thanks to this amazing community, I not only received career resources and advice from fellow Baddies, but also a full ride scholarship to study Web Development with one of BiT’s partner institutions. In the next few months I’ll fulfill my dream of becoming a Web Developer!
